Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the martial arts or horror types. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action flicks and has a fascination with the morbid. Her first review was at the end of 2009 when she became popular in their forum. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa), she was invited to be a part of the Channel Awesome team. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. The appearances she made in Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax as well as some adult-oriented comedy. She began in late 2009 reviewing films, which gained her acclaim on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the network's family of movie critics. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was part the team of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
