Her appearances include Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 program Point Pleasant, and Marcy playing a character on Dawson's Creek. A few years ago she portrayed Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. The role won her an award at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for Best Newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas in the ABC series Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. She starred on the 2012 NBC series pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked-up.
